Invest
What is it?
Simply put, happy, healthy schools start with happy, healthy people. And we are happier, healthier, and more engaged when we put the time and energy into knowing who we are, as individuals and as a collective community. Investing is understanding self and others. We must support learning cultures where students, teachers, leadership, parents, and school communities recognize their voices matter and are imperative for effective change, achievement and success. How do we begin to create a space where people know they matter? By first investing in opportunities to hear, share, and reflect on the individual narratives of students, staff, and ourselves, and by taking action to create learning environments that honour those experiences. Ultimately, investing is about building relationships. |
